Made in the 1940-1950 era, these celluloid flower earrings are apple green. The color is not painted; the color of the celluloid goes all the way through.
The earrings are clips and the flowers and leaves are a bold 3D carved/molded design. In the 1940-1950 era, there were only 3 shades of green celluloid earrings ever made. There was a dark grey-green, a light grey-green, and this very nice apple green.
Medium petite in size, the earrings are 1 1/16" or 28 mm wide. The pair is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. The clips are silver metal and are in like new perfect working order. The earrings are not signed.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation earring box.
